Just about a year ago on November 15th 2017, the music world lost another extremely young and super talented musician in Lil Peep. Since his passing, we have heard a few posthumous anthems like “Spotlight,” “Falling Down,” and most recently, “Runaway.” Today, we receive another posthumous single with “Life Is Beautiful.”
Lil Peep’s latest single is another anthem from his upcoming album ‘Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 2,’ which is set to be released this Friday, November 9th. “Life Is Beautiful” is also accompanied by a music video that was recorded back in 2015. So stream his new single, check out the music video, read what Peep’s mom Liza Womack had to say about the release, and patiently wait for his new album to arrive later this week.
Gus wrote this song in early 2015. He and a friend shot some footage at our home in Long Beach, NY—where a couple of his other videos were shot. Gus liked shooting in the basement, and in the garage. He liked playing with atmosphere. In this one, he was playing with light and shadow. He was also very proud of his new glasses. He needed prescription glasses, and this was the only pair he ever had with a prescription in them.
