Ringo Starr Teases Paul McCartney Collab

Just in case you weren’t aware, in 1960, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr formed the legendary group The Beatles. That’s about all the history lesson you’ll be getting here because you should really well know about The Beatles.

Now something that you may not be aware of is that Ringo Starr is getting ready to release his 19th solo album! And for his upcoming project, he is pulling out all the stops. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, he revealed that he has a collab on the album with none-other than Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney!

Well, I just called him up and said,”I got this song called ‘Show Me the Way,’ and I want you to play on it.” Because he is a really good friend of mine, he said he’d come to L.A. for it. It’s about [my wife] Barbara. She shows me the way. I wanted it to be very personal. While he was there, he also played on “We’re on the Road Again.” That was very kind of him.

As you get ready for this amazing collab, watch below some footage of the guys’ 2014 performance from ‘The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles.’
