Just in case you weren’t aware, Electric Zoo began taking over Randall’s Island back in 2009 as a two-day event with about 50 DJs. And ever since then, the festival has expanded to three days and has added many more DJs and attendees. This past Labor Day Weekend, Electric Zoo took over Randall’s Island for their 10th anniversary. Over the absolutely epic weekend, 100,000+ fans attended New York’s largest and longest-running electronic music festival.
The whole festival was an incredible experience and we’ll gladly share with you some of the amazing reasons why Electric Zoo 2018 was absolutely unforgettable! Electric Zoo always prides itself with an enormous lineup. And just like they always do, this year they without a doubt catered to the diversity of the attendees. The festival featured massive headliners marshmello, Virtual Self, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Alesso & Tiesto.
The theme for this year was ‘The Big Ten.’ And to celebrate their 10th anniversary, EZOO really impressed everyone with their amazing stages, interactive installations and art, New York’s best food vendors and much more. EZOO also threw together some absolutely epic curated stage takeovers from HYPERHOUSE x Night Bass, Anjunabeats, AMFAMFAMF, DeadBeats, Brownies and Lemonade & HYTE!
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, there was an overwhelming amount of peace, love, unity, and respect coming from every attendee and staff member. The happiest and most welcoming of vibes were radiating throughout the entire festival. So with that said, see you all next year for Electric Zoo Festival 2019!
