Kid Cudi Announces New Album, Teases Childish Gambino Collab & Possible Coachella Performance

Ever since 2003, Kid Cudi has released six studio albums, one mixtape, and countless singles and music videos. Recently, he announced that he will be releasing a brand new album sometime in 2019 as collaborations and features suffices fans in the meanwhile. Lately, it has become a trend for musicians and artists alike to break the news on upcoming music via social media. And that’s exactly what Cudi did as he informed fans on his next studio album, show and movie appearances, his collaboration with Childish Gambino, as well as hinting at his return to the popularized Coachella music festival.

It has been 2 years since Kid Cudi released his last solo album, ‘Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’.’ Since then, the rapper has visited rehab and has been musically resilient as he returned a few months ago with ‘KIDS SEE GHOSTS,’ a collaborative album with Kanye West. Kid Cudi has also recently been featured on Quavo’s debut solo album ‘QUAVO HUNCHO,’ and he has hinted that he will most likely be appearing more on big feature songs leading up to his album.
