H.E.R. Releases New EP ‘I Used To Know Her: The Prelude’ Ft. Bryson Tiller

Just in case you weren’t aware, the R&B singer known as H.E.R. has always stood behind a veil of secrecy, letting her voice be the center of attention and only recently revealing her public identity.¬†And recently, the mysterious angelic vocalist has finally released her 6 track project called ‘I Used To Know Her: The Prelude,‘ preparing fans for her first full-length debut album.

H.E.R. has repeatedly gained the attention of Hip Hop heavyweights such as Pusha T and continued to create a loyal fanbase based on her honest interpretation of life and modern relationships. Notably “Lost Souls,” the first song on the EP, begins with funky Hip Hop production and lyricism armed with an energetic flow reminiscent of the 90s, showing the versatility and consciousness of the young artist.

Against Me” starts with the first half of the track as sensual memoir of a past lover, drastically switching up to an empowering spoken word verse reflecting on the struggles of being intertwined with the opposite sex.
