[Event Review] Elements Music & Arts Festival 2017

Elements Music & Arts Festival just took over Hunts Point in The Bronx, NYC this past weekend. Their massive lineup featured GRiZ, Zeds Dead, Flying Lotus, The Knocks and much, much more. The whole festival was an incredible experience and we’ll share with you some of the amazing highlights.

The Music:

Like we said above, the lineup was absolutely massive and also extremely diverse. During the 2 days there, we were able to hear so much music from house to trap, live music and some insane DJing thanks to DJ Jazzy Jeff. We also got to experience headliners like GRiZ & Zeds Dead, as well as some great up and comers like Chet Porter & GG Magree. The festival without a doubt caters to the diversity of the attendees.

Location, Location, Location:
In previous years, Elements was held in an industrial area on Brooklyn. But for this year, they really stepped it up with the venue change to Hunts Point, The Bronx. The new venue without a doubt had an industrial vibe as there were abandoned silos and towers, former factories with soaring 6 story ceilings, a view of the city skyline, and grassy fields along 1/4 mile of waterfront.

With 5 different and unique stages, Elements without a doubt made each stage a completely different, and amazing experience. Each stage was its own element and you really felt that you were in a different element as you traveled around the festival. From an abandoned factory, to a stage with a massive dragon, Elements had it all!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, there was an overwhelming amount of peace, love, unity, and respect coming from every attendee and staff member. The happiest and most welcoming of vibes were radiating throughout the entire festival. So with that said, see you all next year for Elements Music & Arts Festival 2018!
