[Event Review] An Epic Performance For An Epic Arena: Illenium Took Over New York City’s Madison Square Garden

Nick Miller, who is better known as Illenium, is without a doubt one of the hardest workers throughout the music industry. The Denver-based artist has bene making quite the name for himself through incredible productions that feature elements of ethereal electronic, rich alternative, complex dubstep, intimate indie, and propulsive pop-punk. And ever since 2013, he has released three studio albums, three EPs, and countless singles and remixes. Now just in case you forgot, back in August, he released his latest album ‘Ascend.’ And what goes great with a new album, a new tour!

The ‘Ascend‘ Tour kicked off earlier this month in Pittsburgh. And last Saturday, September 21st, Illenium brought his tour, which featured Adventure Club, Said The Sky & Dabin, to New York City’s iconic venue, Madison Square Garden. And for four hours, these super talented acts took over MSG in absolutely epic fashion. Backed by a full band and ensconced in his most immersive production, Illenium’s 90 minute set was without a doubt an undeniable, unmatched, and unforgettable experience for fans.

For us, the obvious highlight of the night was when Illenium broke out the guitar and serenaded the sold-out crowd. To say that this was an epic night for an epic arena is an understatement as the night was incredible unforgettable. So check out the amazing photos courtesy of Carly Boyle/MSG Photos, and peep the full tour dates below.
