Evanescence Release New Version Of “Bring Me To Life” For New Album ‘Synthesis’

So Evanescence just had a really crazy week. A few days ago, the band announced their fourth studio album ‘Synthesis.’ And if that wasn’t enough excitement for you, the band also announced their upcoming ‘Synthesis‘ Tour. The tour is set to kick off mid October in Las Vegas and ends mid December in Portland, Oregon.

Today, they have created more buzz as they have released a brand new version of their massive hit “Bring Me To Life.” And just like the tour, the album will feature reimagined versions of the band’s hits with full orchestra and electronics combined with the band and Amy Lee’s piano skills and beautiful vocals. So check out their new version, read what Amy had to say, and patiently wait as a brand new track from the album will debut next month!

‘Bring Me To Life’ is new to me again after 15 years. It’s difficult to explain how good that makes me feel. Having the chance to incorporate things I’ve heard in my head throughout that long period of time, nuances from the way I sing it live, just pouring the weight and perspective of the life I’ve lived now back into that root–it’s pure satisfaction.
