Swedish DJ/Producer Tim Bergling was better known by his stage name Avicii. He was responsible for massive anthems like “Levels,” “Wake Me Up,” “Bromance” and so many more. And today, the whole world has lost another super talented and super young individual as Avicii has been found dead at 28.
In a statement earlier today, his publicist Diana Baron confirmed that the young phenom has in fact deceased:
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”
We will keep this story updated as soon as more information is available.

. @Avicii was talented and kind, and I was genuinely excited to see what would come next from him. His future most certainly should have been written beyond age 28. I am
Rest easy Tim.

I would have enjoyed nothing more than ripping into Avicii well into and beyond our 60's. taken away from us far too young. I know he's at peace somewhere up there getting the last laugh that i spelled his name right this time. https://t.co/uAmdPsouSz

Hey Tim, I never got to meet you, but I wanted you to know that almost 11 years ago the first remix I ever did was of Seek Bromance. I remember watching all your music videos, interviews, etc. completely fascinated by the phenomena that was avicii. Thanks for inspiring us all.
